Why We Don't Install Lights You Already Own

Team members carry liability and workers' insurance, and we work to one system: commercial-grade bulbs, sockets, and cords we know from end to end. A strand we did not supply is a strand we know nothing about. We would rather say no than hang something we cannot vouch for.

Our workmanship is guaranteed, and we test the lights at install. If a light or bulb goes out, we come back to replace it or adjust it. We can only make that promise about lights we chose, bought, and installed ourselves.

Store-bought strands are usually built to last a season or two. These are the common problems with them:

• One dead bulb can take a whole section dark.
• Mixed brands mean mixed shades of white on one roofline.
• Indoor-rated strands are not made for a winter outside.
• Cords that sat in a box all year are hard to trust on a roof.

• Commercial-grade C9 bulbs and strands, custom fitted to your home.
• All the lights, extension cords, timers, and products included. You provide nothing.
• Lights tested at install.
• Mid-season fixes, takedown, and storage after the season.
• Your store-bought lights still have a job. They look great on the tree inside.

So when we say no to hanging your lights, it is not a sales tactic. It is the reason we can stand behind the display. One decision, and everything after it is our job instead of yours.
